Agentis pulls real-time cost data from your NetSuite instance — COGS per SKU, landed costs, purchase order pricing, and vendor rebates — so every checkout evaluation uses your actual margin, not stale spreadsheet estimates.
Agentis connects to NetSuite via SuiteScript RESTlets or Celigo iPaaS to read item cost records, landed cost allocations, and open PO pricing. When a Shopify Plus order enters checkout, Agentis queries the most recent cost record for each line item and calculates true gross margin in under 10ms. If COGS change in NetSuite — a new PO lands, freight allocations update, or vendor pricing shifts — Agentis reflects the change on the very next order.
Agentis supports both direct SuiteScript 2.0 RESTlet connections and Celigo-managed integrations. For direct connections, we deploy a read-only RESTlet bundle to your NetSuite account that exposes item cost, landed cost, and PO data via token-based authentication (TBA). Data syncs run on a configurable interval (default 5 minutes) or via SuiteScript User Event triggers for real-time updates when cost records change. All API calls are idempotent, rate-limited to respect NetSuite governance, and logged for audit compliance.
By default, Agentis only reads cost data from NetSuite. Optionally, you can enable a write-back that logs margin enforcement events as custom records or saved search entries for finance team review.
Agentis reads the Average Cost, Last Purchase Price, and Landed Cost fields from Item records. You can configure which cost method to prioritize, and Agentis supports custom cost fields if your implementation uses them.
Agentis batches API calls, caches cost data locally with configurable TTL, and uses SuiteScript governance-aware retry logic. Typical usage consumes less than 5% of a standard NetSuite integration governance allocation.
